DJ and Street DanceA new addition to the mobile activities unit is the mobile DJ (music) and VJ (video) equipment which allows budding musicians and artists to practice their DJ'ing and VJ'ing skills. We have two vinyl decks and two CD decks and mixer unit to scratch your music along with a laptop and high definition camcorder to create your video additions whether a dance routine or music video. For the more athletic, we are able to provide large mats for the street dancers to practice their moves.
Also, with the variety of equipment we have now, we have the ability to play music at our deliveries and video record budding skateboarders, BMX riders and in-line skaters as they do their moves and tricks and then project the video images on to a nearby large wall or screen and then play various music adding a backdrop to the activities for all to view. Street DanceAnother exiting addition to the Mobile provision is the Street Dance project. This includes Hip Hop, popping and locking as well as other moves and chreography which is lead by highly trained and experienced Street Dance artists. All the workshops and sessions are progressive and follow a detailed scheme of work, this highlights pathways and outcomes for all of the young people who attend the workshops. The artists have all the latest moves and chart music to ensure quality and up to date chreography.
